Our team of specialists has over 25 years of experience processing and distributing steel products for a variety of industries, including steel construction, infrastructure, energy, nuclear, healthcare, automotive, mechanical engineering, rail, and shipbuilding & repair. Our steel service centre in Differdange, Luxembourg, holds a stock of over 9000 tons of flat steel products.

At Cofralux we carry a wide range of grades and sizes of Heavy Plates. With an average inventory of 9000 tons we always have the quantity and grade required for your projects. Grades we stock range from common construction grades to specialty Structural, Pressure Vessel, HSLA, Wear Resistant, and Tooling. We stock plates up to 300 mm in thickness, 4 m in width and 16 m in length. We insure 100% traceability of our plates which are certified in 2.2, 3.1, or 3.2 with plates for rail infrastructure projects as per NF Acier and DBS 918002-02 specifications with Welding SEP 1390, Ultra-Sound and Striction (Z35,Z25, Z15) tests. Additional testing can be performed upon customer’s request.
At Cofralux we continuously invest in our cutting and processing capabilities. With Oxy-Flame cutting we are able to process up to 300 mm thick plates with perfect squaring and tight tolerances. Our 440A Hi-Focus Plasma can cut up to 50 mm with a 3D Link torch able to cut in negative or positive bevels, in straight or curved profiles.
